Outdoors most of yesterday

My dog and I had a pretty good day yesterday. I took her to the dog beach, giving her the opportunity to bogart everyone else's balls:

She basically just cavorted, gamboled, and porpoised for half an hour while I looked for stray balls to toss to her:

Her friend Butters met us at the beach and came with us to The Dock, where the dogs shared a dog burger.

Later, I met a couple of other friends at Pritzker Pavilion to hear Mozart's Requiem:

We don't get too many days like that in Chicago. Sadly, today will not be one of them, but we'll brave the ridiculous humidity to get at least an hour-long walk between the waves of thunderstorms. And today, I'll remember to bring her treats.
